Dominic Diston spent 25 years in the aerospace industry and has wide experience in dynamics, control and simulation of vehicles and systems. This involved substantial periods in research and development as a technical specialist. For many years, he was an active participant in industry/government projects and working groups on both sides of the Atlantic. Major areas of work have included integrated flight/propulsion control, information modelling, computer-aided engineering and fuel/thermal/power system simulation. All work has been closely linked with project applications, most significantly Harrier, Typhoon, Nimrod and F-35.
