Below is a list of PhD Scholarships available for Overseas students. All of these are internal scholarships, administered by the School. Applications will be considered under all of the following categories for which the applicant is qualified. Applicants will only be considered for a School Scholarship if they have completed the standard University of Manchester postgraduate online application process. Award holders will be selected on the basis of academic excellence and research potential. The expected level of competition for these awards means that it is probable that successful nominees will hold, or expect to achieve, at least the equivalent of a UK first class honours degree in an Engineering discipline, Mathematics, or a closely related technical subject, before the programme of research is due to begin.
