The Steel in Fire Forum and the Concrete Fire Forum allow industries, research institutes, universities, and other organisations to discuss and debate latest research in the field of Structural Fire Engineering. A common, and frustrating, problem highlighted through these Group is the lack of an effective mechanism of disseminating research. This one-stop-shop web-site will address this problem and will be of great benefit to both researchers and practitioners by ensuring research work is not destined to remain in the academic achives never to be used.

Latest research carried out by BRE and other research organisations (representing the concrete, steel, timber and masonry industries) will be discussed by the Steering Group. If appropriate, a summary and discussion on the possible application of the research will be included in this site and links, for further information, will be given.
