Normal Weight Concrete Introduction

This section provides the thermal and mechanical properties of normal-weight concrete (NWC) with siliceous or calcareous aggregates in accordance with EN 1992-1-2 (2003). The concrete strength classes range from C12/15 to C50/60. The strength classification of C12/15 refers to a concrete grade with characteristic cylinder and cube strength of 12 N/mm2 and 15 N/mm2 respectively.
