Structures and Fire Expert Group
The Structures and Fire Group is actively engaged in both fundamental and applied research. The members of the group are involved in various academic and professional bodies including design codes committee.
One of the major strengths of the group has been sustaining a strong symbiotic relationship with the construction industry. The group maintains a fully equipped heavy structures and fire laboratory for research, consultation and research student training purposes.
