Advanced Flow Diagnostics and Instrumentation Expert Group
Flow diagnostics relate to several major research themes in Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, Naval, Power Generation and other engineering sectors:
- Experimental heat and fluid flow physics (including flow dynamics, aerodynamics, acoustics, heat transfer, combustion, propulsion etc.)
- Optics and lasers
- High speed photography and photonics
- Fluid mechanics measurements
- Instrumentation for flows with combustion and/or shock waves

This group contributes to the teaching of the MSc Course in Thermal Power and Fluids Engineering.
