We are introducing a staged admissions process with selection deadlines throughout the year that will benefit all applicants.
This is a competitive application process and preference will be given to applicants with grades above our minimum entry requirements. Applicants to the Commercial Project Management course are expected to demonstrate that they have a strong academic background in management.
If we make you an offer, you will have 8 weeks in which to accept. Offers that are not accepted within the 8 week period will be withdrawn so that an offer can be made to another candidate in the next application stage.
Stage 1 : Application received by 12/11/18; decision communicated between 17/12/18 - 21/12/18
Stage 2 : Application received by 14/1/19; decision communicated between 25/2/19 - 1/3/19
Stage 3 : Application received by 18/3/19; decision communicated between 30/4/19 - 03/5/19

We will aim to give you a decision on your application in the decision period for your application stage. However, in some instances it may be necessary to roll your application forward to the next stage due to the competition for places and the volume of applications received. We will contact you with an update on your application in the decision period if this is the case.
Please note: All places are subject to availability and some courses may close before the later stages. We therefore recommend that you apply early in the admissions cycle to secure a place with us. Applications received after the final deadline of 1/5/19 may be considered at our discretion if places are still available.
Applicants who are made a conditional offer of a place must demonstrate that they have met all the conditions of their offer of study by Wednesday 31 July 2019.

This MSc in Structural Engineering comprises eight taught course units worth 15 credits each and a research dissertation worth 60 credits. The taught units provide an introduction to experimental work and research methods and cover advanced aspects of theory and design principles relevant to the static and dynamic behaviour of structures, steel and concrete structures and finite element modelling. A particular highlight of the taught component of the course is studying the behaviour and design of structures against extreme loading including fire and earthquake, which is taught by internationally leading researchers and engineers. As a large multi-disciplinary engineering school, MACE has academic staff who are experts in a broad range of research areas and have a wide spread of professional experience in industry.
