The employability rate for our 2011 Engineering graduates is high

  • 86% of Aerospace engineers and
  • 85% of Mechanical and Civil engineers

The School offers a wide variety of courses that reflect the diversity of modern Aerospace, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. Each course builds up different skill-sets for application in future study and employment. These are arranged in to three-year Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree programmes and four or five year Master of Engineering (MEng) degree programmes. BEng programmes that provide a high level of proficiency and practice, appropriate for careers in industry and for postgraduate study. MEng programmes allow specialisation and encourage the growth of expertise and innovation that is needed for future leaders of industry and academia. The MEng degree is the main route to become a Chartered Engineer.

The core programmes on offer are the three-year BEng and the four or five year MEng and include opportunities to study with Industrial Experience and/or Management.

Civil Engineering
