Coastal Processes Expert Group
The group Both fundamental and applied research is undertaken on coastal processes.
The group has underpinning capability in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), including shallow flow solvers, finite-volume methods (STREAM), and smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH), and in experimental methods.
Group members
Membership: Dr David D Apsley, Mr Nicolas Chini, Dr Mark Cotton, Dr Lee S Cunningham, Dr Gregory Lane-Serff, Dr Benedict Rogers, Dr Tim Stallard,
PhD students: Maurice McCabe, Armando Alexandre, Hossein Mahdizadeh, Roberto Lotto, Athanasios, Alma Adventa.
Professor Peter Stansby and Dr David Apsley get 2010 award from The American Society of Civil Engineers.
