How to apply

Enquiries can be made by companies wishing to sponsor employee's professional development.

Stage 1

Prior to applying to the University of Manchester, applicants wishing to be sponsored by their company are advised to discuss their wish to participate on the programme with their company business manager. All tuition fees are paid by sponsoring employers.

If you have company approval, or wish to continue as an individual please apply by using the link on our application page.

Stage3

Once prospective candidates have sought company approval they will be subject to the University of Manchester admissions policy. For direct MSc entry to the programme candidates must have an Upper Second Class Degree or international equivalent, in a relevant subject. However, the programme offers 'a ladder of opportunity' system whereby candidates with no first degree but with additional relevant qualifications or professional experience may be offered a Certificate or Diploma level registration to start with.  Candidates offered entry at Certificate level can progress to the Diploma once they have successfully completed four taught units and to the MSc once they have successfully completed all eight taught units. Candidates offered entry at Diploma level can progress to the MSc once they have successfully completed all eight taught units. An MSc will be awarded upon successful completion of all eight taught units and the dissertation.
