Part time Distance Learning MSc

The part time Distance Learning MSc programme is similar to the part-time Direct Taught programme. Students can choose only 2 modules per semester for the first 2 years and then 1 year to complete the individual research project. For this programme, 2 course units per semester are undertaken online using web-based teaching material, contenting text, images, video and animation, in parallel over a three month period.

  • MSc 36 months : 8 units plus dissertation project
  • Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) 24 months: 4 core units plus 4 optional units
  • Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) 9 months: 4 core units

Mode of delivery

This is 3 year web-based Blackboard course that attracts students from all over the world. See example of Distance Learning Part Time Programme structure below. The course modules and content are the same for all Full Time and Part Time programmes.
