MACE Student Success at ASME Turbo Expo 2017 Conference

From the 26th to the 30th June, a MACE Undergraduate presented their work and represented the University at an international engineering conference.

Hassan Imran presents his paper.

3rd Year Aerospace Engineering student Hassan Imran attended the 2017 Turbo Expo Conference, hosted by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), in Charlotte, North Carolina. Here, he presented his paper “Fractal Characteristics of Combustion Noise”, which he wrote during his 3-month internship at the Technical University of Berlin.

Hassan’s paper has been accepted by the ASME and may form part of a journal publication in the future. In additional to presenting his paper, Hassan also attended others’ presentations and met a variety of engineers from around the world, including researchers, academics and those in industry.
