Management of Projects MSc scholarships

International students

The School of Mechanical Aerospace and Civil Engineering is excited to announce the introduction of the Management of Projects Excellence awards. These are scholarships for academically excellent students on one of the following full-time master’s courses:

  • MSc Management of Projects
  • MSc Commercial Project Management
  • MSc Construction Project Management
  • MSc Engineering Project Management

The scholarship is a tuition fee reduction of £10,000 (five scholarships are available). The tuition fee for scholarship holders will therefore be £14,500.

Applications will open at the beginning of February and close on Friday 26 April. The online application system will be live from 1 February. Scholarship winners will be announced by the end of May 2019.

In order to ensure maximum impact of the scholarships and encourage a diverse set of recipients from all backgrounds, awards will be limited to one per nationality.

Eligibility

For 2019 entry, scholarship applicants are required to:

  • Be an offer-holder (conditional or unconditional) for one of the courses above. If you have held an offer for one of the above courses as part of an earlier round you can still apply and your offer will be reinstated if you win the award.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum classification of a good Upper Second class (2:1) or international equivalent, or be on track to achieve a bachelor’s degree with a minimum Upper Second class (2:1) or international equivalent.
  • Applicants will need to have completed an English Language qualification to the required standard – IELTS with an overall score of at least 6.5, with at least 6.5 in reading and other no sub-test below 6.0, or equivalent approved English language qualification.

EU/Home students

The School of Mechanical Aerospace and Civil Engineering is excited to announce the introduction of the Management of Projects EU/Home Excellence awards. These are scholarships for academically excellent students studying on one of the following full-time master’s courses:

  • MSc Management of Projects
  • MSc Commercial Project Management
  • MSc Construction Project Management
  • MSc Engineering Project Management

The scholarship is a tuition fee reduction of £5,000 (10 scholarships are available). The tuition fee for scholarship holders will therefore be £6,000.
