From tackling humanitarian crises to protecting the environment, engineers make a global impact. A degree from our Department starts your journey.
Choose between a three-year BEng course or a four-year MEng programme in an area of your interest - whether you're intrigued by the practices of a civil engineer or have designs on an aerospace career.
By joining our Department, you'll become part of our friendly community of aspiring engineers. Explore your options for courses, funding and industrial experience below.
UK-based applicants who receive an offer of a place on one of our undergraduate courses will be invited to attend one of our UCAS visit days.
The visit days are subject-specific and provide an opportunity to explore the Department, meet members of staff and current students who can tell you about studying and living in Manchester. Parents are also welcome to attend the visit day and we arrange a separate programme for them.
Right now we don't know if this will be on campus, but as soon as we do, so will you. Our admissions department will contact you with more information.
